The 78 injured patients from the explosion accident at Baogang Rare Earth Steel Plate Factory in Inner Mongolia have all been sent to hospital for treatment.

On January 18th at around 3 pm, an explosion occurred at Baogang Rare Earth Steel Plate Factory in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In footage taken by firefighting rescue personnel, the explosion affected a wide area, with severe damage to the buildings on site and various equipment scattered around. The overall environment is complex and severe. As of now, the explosion has resulted in 2 fatalities, and 78 injured individuals have been urgently transported to local hospitals for treatment. Rescue efforts are still ongoing at the scene.
