A market in the southern part of Sudan was attacked by a drone, resulting in 39 casualties.
On January 17, local time, the Sudanese civil organization "Sudan Doctors Network" released a statement stating that a market in the city of Dilling in the South Kordofan state in southern Sudan was attacked by drones on the 15th, resulting in serious casualties. The death toll has now risen to 7 people, with 32 others injured. The statement accused the Sudan Rapid Support Forces of launching the attack and stated that the majority of the casualties were women and children. The Rapid Support Forces have not yet responded to these allegations.
