Hainan Provincial Government and Southern Power Grid Company signed a "15th Five-Year Plan" deepening strategic cooperation agreement in Guangdong.

On January 16, the government of Hainan Province and China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. signed a "15th Five-Year Plan" strategic cooperation agreement in Guangzhou. According to the agreement, based on the strategic positioning of "Three Zones and One Center" in Hainan and the strategic deployment of building Hainan Free Trade Port, both parties will implement the construction of an energy-powerful country, adhere to the principle of being moderately advanced and leaving room for improvement, increase investment in the Hainan power grid, with a planned investment of 46 billion yuan in the "15th Five-Year Plan". They will deepen the construction of a new electricity system in Hainan, accelerate the construction of the Hainan-Guangdong power flexible mutual aid project, achieve full coverage of 220 kV substations in counties by 2030, improve the infrastructure construction of Hainan power grid and the level of power support guarantee, and better serve the strategy of building an energy-powerful country and Hainan Free Trade Port.
