"Although the government maintained a cautious attitude in the initial stage, the first phase measures announced by the United States are mainly targeting advanced chips produced by Nvidia and AMD," the South Korean Minister of Trade pointed out. "Considering that the memory chips that South Korean companies mainly export are currently not included in the tariff range, it is expected that the short-term impact of this policy will be very limited." He emphasized, "It is not yet time to relax." He emphasized that the timing and scope of potential second-phase measures are still uncertain.
