On January 16th, according to the official account of "Tianya Travel Culture" on social media, the Tianya District Tourism Culture Service Center issued a statement regarding the situation of "tourists being bitten by insects in a homestay and developing a rash": the business fully refunded the room fee and also paid for the medical expenses that the tourists incurred. In addition, the service center has collaborated with the health and other departments to conduct a special inspection of the homestay and issued a notice to the business to make immediate corrections.
