Major European stock indexes closed with general declines.

The European Stoxx 600 Index fell by 0.12%, the European Stoxx Index fell by 0.3%, and the Eurozone blue-chip stock index fell by 0.33%. The UK's FTSE 100 index dropped by 0.12%, Germany's DAX index fell by 0.3%, France's CAC 40 index dropped by 0.81%, and Spain's IBEX index rose by 0.2%.
