Shanghai home appliance trade-in program second round registration opens at zero hours on January 17th.

The Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission announced today that the second round of registration for the 2026 Shanghai household appliances trade-in, digital, and smart product subsidies will be from 0:00 on January 17th to 20:00 on January 19th, 2026, with the issuance of vouchers from 12:00 to 24:00 on January 21st. Citizens can participate in the registration by logging onto platforms such as UnionPay, JD, Suning, Taobao, Tmall, Pinduoduo, Douyin, etc. The verification time remains 14 days after the subsidy voucher is received, allowing citizens to purchase their desired items before the Chinese New Year holiday.
