The latest data from Yiwu Customs shows that in 2025, the total foreign trade import and export of Yiwu exceeded 800 billion for the first time, reaching 836.5 billion yuan, a historical high. Among them, imports were 105.8 billion yuan, an increase of 32.3% year-on-year, breaking through the one hundred billion mark. Looking at the numbers in recent years, it is easy to see that Yiwu's imports have been growing rapidly. Yiwu, known for "selling globally" and being called the "world's supermarket" and a barometer of China's foreign trade exports, is buying what? It is understood that in the Yiwu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, there are more than 70,000 kinds of goods from 74 countries and regions. Health products, beauty and skincare products, and maternal and child products are the main categories of imports, accounting for about 70% of Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce imports.
