Zhang Wei, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Pipeline Group, recently stated that the Sichuan-to-Eastern Gas Pipeline Project, a major energy infrastructure project for China's "14th Five-Year Plan", has been completed and put into operation in the Sichuan section. The project team achieved continuous laying of long-distance pipelines in mountainous areas, with all three key stations adopting unmanned design, marking a further improvement in the intelligent construction level of long-distance pipelines in China. The Sichuan-to-Eastern Gas Pipeline is approximately 4269 kilometers long, and after completion and operation, it will increase the annual gas transmission capacity by approximately 14 billion cubic meters. By 2026, the project construction will fully enter the fast lane, with an estimated completion of over 1000 kilometers of pipeline welding in the entire year.
