TSMC: Healthy demand for computer and mobile phone customers, memory price hike has no impact.

On January 15th, the semiconductor foundry TSMC held a meeting for investors, who were concerned about the computer and smartphone market conditions and whether shipment volume would be affected by the rise in memory prices. TSMC's chairman and CEO, Wei Zhejia, stated that it would not have an impact on TSMC as most of their customers focus on the high-end market and are less sensitive to memory prices. Demand for this year and next year is very healthy.
