The Gates Foundation promises a record-breaking annual spending of $90 billion.
The Gates Foundation announced on January 15th that its board of directors has approved a record-breaking annual expenditure of $9 billion and strengthened management to "maximize mission and impact" before ceasing operation in 2045. The foundation has submitted and had approved by the board of directors multiple proposals that clearly outline increased investments in key areas such as maternal and child health, polio eradication, U.S. education, vaccine development, as well as implementing new measures to manage operational costs.
