MediaTek officially released two mobile chips, Dimensity 9500 and Dimensity 8500. The Dimensity 9500 features flagship 3nm process and a full big core architecture, with an octa-core CPU including one Cortex-X925 super core with a clock speed of up to 3.73GHz, as well as 3 Cortex-X4 super cores and 4 Cortex-A720 cores. It comes with Immortalis-G925 GPU, supporting advanced ray tracing technology and 165Hz high frame rate gaming, integrated flagship NPU, supporting on-device AI real-time photo editing, content summary, and other generative AI functions. The Dimensity 8500 uses a 4nm process, with an octa-core CPU featuring 8 Cortex-A725 big cores with a peak frequency of up to 3.4GHz, supporting LPDDR5X 9600Mbps memory. It comes with Mali-G720 GPU, with a 25% increase in peak performance over the previous generation and a 20% reduction in power consumption at the same performance level.
