At the end of December, the balance of foreign currency deposits was 33.614 trillion yuan, an increase of 9% year-on-year. The balance of renminbi deposits at the end of the month was 32.864 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year. The renminbi deposits for the whole year increased by 2.641 trillion yuan. Among them, household deposits increased by 1.464 trillion yuan, non-financial corporate deposits increased by 0.231 trillion yuan, fiscal deposits increased by 657.9 billion yuan, and deposits of non-banking financial institutions increased by 0.641 trillion yuan.
