Lloyds Bank foreign exchange strategist Nicholas Kennedy stated that Trump is fully aware of the political considerations behind the White House taking legal action against the Federal Reserve. He pointed out that despite recent US nonfarm data showing that Trump seems to have achieved many successes in the economic field, the actual economic situation is not optimistic for the general public, with job reductions in multiple industries and rising unemployment rates. Kennedy said that since Trump took office, the number of unemployed people has increased by 700,000. In this context, the Federal Reserve has become "a very ideal scapegoat."
