The total connected capacity of offshore wind power in the Yangtze River Delta region exceeds 19 million kilowatts.

Yesterday, it was learned from the State Grid that by the end of 2025, the scale of offshore wind power grid connection in the Yangtze River Delta region will exceed 19 million kilowatts, becoming the largest region in the country in terms of offshore wind power grid connection scale. Among them, Jiangsu has the largest scale of offshore wind power grid connection, reaching 13.4891 million kilowatts, ranking first in the country in terms of grid connection total. It can provide over 30 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity for the Yangtze River Delta region every year, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 22 million tons.
