According to French media reports on the 12th, non-essential staff at the French embassy in Iran have been evacuated, but the embassy is still operational. In recent times, protests have broken out in various parts of Iran, leading to riots and casualties. President Trump has repeatedly threatened military intervention in the situation in Iran. Iran is also engaged in diplomatic activities to garner support. According to Reuters, Iranian officials have recently stepped up diplomatic contacts with neighboring countries and spoken with officials from Qatar, Turkey, Iraq, and other countries.
