Three ministries hold symposium for new energy vehicle industry enterprises: resolutely resist the disorderly "price war"

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission's Industrial Development Department, and the State Administration for Market Regulation held a joint meeting on January 14th with representatives from the new energy vehicle industry to discuss and deploy measures to regulate the competition order in the new energy vehicle industry. Representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Equipment Industry Development Center, the Automobile Industry Association, and 17 key automobile companies attended the meeting. The meeting emphasized the need to implement the decisions made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, to uphold innovation-driven development and quality as a priority, and to firmly resist disorderly price wars in order to promote a market order of high quality, fair competition, and reasonable prices. The three departments will further strengthen coordination, cost investigations, price monitoring, supervision, enforcement, and product consistency checks, and will impose strict penalties on companies violating regulations in order to maintain a fair and orderly market environment and promote high-quality development in the automobile industry.
