Kazakhstani oil tanker attacked by drone in the Caspian Sea causing an explosion

On January 13th local time, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company announced that one of its subsidiaries had rented the "Matilda" oil tanker which was attacked by drones in the Caspian Sea, causing an explosion but no subsequent fire. According to preliminary assessment, the oil tanker is still able to navigate, and initial inspections did not find any serious structural damage.
