Ikea's clearance sale: some products at up to 70% off in closed stores.

In the IKEA official store mini-program, it was announced that some of the 7 IKEA stores that will be closing soon have officially started offering clearance discounts. Among them, the IKEA Baoshan store in Shanghai will have over 800 items on sale at a discount starting from January 15 to February 1, with discounts starting at 30% off. Starting from February 8, some sample home products will also be on sale at a special price. The IKEA Zhongbei store in Tianjin will start selling some sample furniture at 50% off from January 19, and some large furniture at 50% off from January 26. The IKEA store in Ningbo will offer discounts starting at 50% for 500 items from January 15 to February 1. There has been no specific announcement for the IKEA stores in Nantong, Harbin, and Xuzhou yet. This round of store closures is due to IKEA China's strategic adjustment. On January 7, the company announced that it will cease operations at the IKEA Baoshan store in Shanghai, IKEA Fanyu store in Guangzhou, IKEA Zhongbei store in Tianjin, IKEA Nantong store, IKEA Xuzhou store, IKEA Ningbo store, and IKEA Harbin store from February 2, 2026. They will shift from expansion to precision cultivation and plan to open more than ten small stores in the next two years.
