Modern car company hires former executives from Nvidia and Tesla to lead its autonomous driving business.

On January 13th, it was reported that Hyundai Motor Group announced in a statement that they have appointed Minwoo Park, a former executive who has worked on autonomous driving technology development and commercialization at NVIDIA and Tesla, as the new head of their Advanced Automotive Platform department. This move is aimed at strengthening Hyundai Motor's competitiveness in the areas of software-defined vehicles and autonomous vehicle software, and accelerating product development processes. Hyundai Motor Group stated that Park will also serve as the CEO of 42dot, a subsidiary focused on autonomous driving technology and other mobile travel platform development under Hyundai Motor.
