Journalists learned on the 13th from the State Administration for Market Regulation that the newly revised "Regulations for the Supervision and Management of Fiber Products Quality" and "General Technical Requirements for Fiber Products" have been recently introduced and will be implemented starting from July 1, 2026. Fiber products are products made up of outer coverings and inner filling materials that are widely used in daily life, such as cotton quilts, cotton clothing, and down jackets. The quality of the inner filling material cannot be seen or touched, making it somewhat hidden. The newly revised regulations will focus on monitoring infant and toddler fiber products, student uniforms, underwear, and fiber products. For key products like infant and toddler fiber products and intimate underwear, the use of recycled fibers as raw materials for production is strictly prohibited. For products like student uniforms that are subject to centralized procurement and unified use, strict pre-delivery inspection requirements will be implemented to ensure that each batch of products can only be delivered after passing inspection. The labeling of student uniforms, underwear, infant and toddler fiber products, etc., must include fiber content, ingredients, and safety technical categories. For non-daily use fiber products, a durable label must be prominently displayed indicating "non-daily use items" to ensure consumer awareness.
