Brazil issued a preliminary ruling of anti-dumping on lysine imported from China.

On December 31, 2025, the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Trade issued Official Gazette No. 101 of 2025, making an affirmative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of lysine for animal feed originating from China, but did not impose any provisional anti-dumping measures. The Brazilian Trade Protection Bureau ultimately determined the United States as the "alternative country" for calculating the normal value of the Chinese product.
