The Iranian president said that he is fully committed to improving people's livelihood by eradicating corruption.
On January 10th local time, Iranian President Pezeshkiyan emphasized during a meeting with members of the Iranian National Interests Committee that the government is fully committed to improving the livelihood of the people by eradicating rent-seeking, bribery, and corruption. Pezeshkiyan stated that the government is currently in a critical stage of confronting external economic warfare and domestic rent-seeking interest groups. He called on all political factions, experts, and institutions to work together after reaching consensus through consultation, in order to firmly support policy implementation in a unified manner. The National Interests Committee is the highest arbitration body in the Iranian political system, responsible for mediating and settling legislative disputes between the Iranian parliament and the Constitutional Oversight Committee.
