During the meeting with former US National Security Advisor Hadley, He Lifeng pointed out that China and the US should take the important consensus reached by the two heads of state as guidance and promote the stable development of bilateral economic and trade relations.

He Lifeng said that the meeting between the leaders of China and the United States in Busan, South Korea, was successful and outlined the direction for the further development of bilateral economic and trade relations. China and the United States have vast cooperation space and extensive common interests, and economic and trade should continue to be the ballast and propeller of Sino-US relations. He hoped that the Atlantic Council would play an active role in promoting the stable development of bilateral economic and trade relations. He Lifeng also introduced the relevant situation of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Hadley positively evaluated the results of the meeting between the leaders of the two countries, stating that the stability of US-China relations is very important and expressing willingness to continue to promote exchanges and dialogue between the US and China.
