The State Medical Insurance Administration issued the "Guidelines for the Establishment of Price Projects for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Medical Services".

In order to implement the pilot program for deepening the reform of medical service prices and promote the standardization of national medical service price projects, the National Medical Insurance Administration recently formulated and issued the "Guidelines for the Establishment of Medical Service Price Projects in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery category", following the work ideology of "developing and publishing in batches". The guideline references the 2023 version of medical service project technical specifications and integrates the current price projects into 71 items, with the addition of 30 new items and 5 expansions. Next, the National Medical Insurance Administration will guide each province's medical insurance administration to refer to the "Guidelines for Establishment", establish a unified price benchmark for the whole province, and have the regions with price management authority compare the province-wide price benchmark to determine the actual price level to be implemented with flexibility.
