According to the Securities Times app, the World Gold Council stated in a document that in October, upstream physical gold demand strengthened against the seasonal trend. In October, the gold outflow from the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) reached 124 tons, an increase of 6 tons compared to the previous month, and a slight increase of 17 tons year-on-year, indicating a rise in gold investment enthusiasm. Although sales of gold jewelry were relatively hot at the beginning of the month, jewelry merchants remained relatively cautious about replenishing their stocks during the month as gold prices fluctuated significantly.
