Song Qichao attends the 24th ministerial meeting of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Mechanism.

On November 20, 2025, the 24th Ministerial Conference of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) mechanism was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The theme of the meeting was "Green and Digital CAREC", and discussions were held on deepening cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, trade, digital connectivity, and climate change response in the CAREC region. Deputy Minister of Finance Song Qichao led a delegation to attend the meeting and delivered a speech. Song Qichao emphasized that in order to promote green and digital development in the Central Asia region, support economic growth and sustainable development, member countries should adhere to open cooperation, create a good development environment, focus on key areas, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, prioritize innovative development, unleash new economic growth drivers, expand partnerships, and consolidate development forces. China is willing to continue to deepen practical cooperation with all member countries of CAREC, and make positive contributions to the transformation and development of the region and common prosperity.
