The total oil transmission of the longest crude oil pipeline in our country has exceeded 200 million tons.
According to the State Grid Corporation, China's longest crude oil pipeline, the Western Crude Oil Pipeline, has surpassed 200 million tons of oil transferred, providing a solid barrier for the country's energy security. The Western Crude Oil Pipeline starts in Shanshan, Xinjiang in the west and extends to Lanzhou, Gansu in the east, with a total length of 1541 kilometers and a designed annual delivery capacity of 20 million tons. It is interconnected with the China-Kazakhstan oil pipeline and the North Xinjiang pipeline, transporting crude oil from the Turpan-Hami oilfield, Xinjiang oilfield, Tarim oilfield, and Central Asia resources to Yumen and Lanzhou in Gansu and Chengdu in Sichuan, ensuring the supply of raw materials for major petrochemical companies. Since the beginning of this year, the efficiency of oil transmission has continued to improve, with nearly 13 million tons of crude oil delivered. The total amount of oil delivered during the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period has now exceeded 68 million tons.
