Croatian Prime Minister Plenkovi announced at a government cabinet meeting on the 20th that in order to alleviate the living pressure caused by inflation for the people, especially low-income groups, the Croatian government has decided to increase the number of price-controlled goods by 30, bringing the total number of price-controlled goods to 100. According to this regulation, retailers in Croatia must not sell price-controlled goods above the price limit set by the government. Small retailers in Croatia must provide at least one price-controlled item, and it must be clearly marked at the entrance or in a prominent place in the store. Large supermarkets must set up a separate area to provide price-controlled goods for the public, especially low-income groups to choose from.
