Brazil initiates a review procedure for anti-dumping measures on Chinese magnesium ingots.

Recently, the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services Foreign Trade Secretary issued Announcement No. 89 of 2025, initiating a review procedure for the anti-dumping measures imposed on magnesium ingots originating from China under Resolution No. 253 of 2021, in response to an application submitted by the Brazilian company RIMA Industrial S.A. on March 28, 2025. The products in question are classified under tariff items 8104.11.00 and 8104.19.00. The analysis period for this case is from March 2021 to October 2025. The review procedure is expected to be completed within three months from the date of initiation. The announcement will take effect on the date of its publication.
