Meta will block users under 16 in Australia.

In early trading on Thursday, the stock price of Meta Platforms rose by 1.9% in the US stock market. The company has begun notifying suspected Australian users under the age of 16 to download their data and delete their accounts, in response to a new law requiring platforms to exclude underage users.
