The Eurasian Economic Union imposes anti-dumping duties on graphite electrodes from China.

On November 17, the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2025/460/AD40, based on Resolution No. 101 of the Eurasian Economic Commission on November 17, 2025, deciding to impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes originating from China, with Jilin Carbon Limited and Jimon Carbon Limited responsible for 19.92%, Fangda Carbon New Material Technology Co., Ltd. for 21.73%, Jiangsu Jianglong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. for 22.51%, Anshan Carbon Co., Ltd., Yingkou Deyuan Carbon Co., Ltd., and Liaoning Dan Carbon New Material Co., Ltd. for 20.83%, and other producers for 22.51%. The products involved are electrode materials for furnaces, with a circular cross-section diameter between 520-650 millimeters and other graphite electrodes with a cross-section area between 2700-3300 square centimeters. The Eurasian Economic Union tariff code for the products in question is 8545110020. The measures will take effect 30 days after the announcement is published.
