Intellifinance APP learned that the Ministry of Finance, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has drafted the "Government Procurement Demand Standards for New Energy Vehicles (Consultation Draft)", which is now open to the public for comments. It is pointed out that the procurer shall not set unreasonable conditions such as qualifications, technology, and commercial conditions for suppliers, nor shall they discriminate against suppliers. The procurer shall strengthen performance acceptance management, conduct acceptance of new energy vehicles provided by suppliers according to the procurement contract, and ensure that the vehicle brand, model, and version are consistent with the brand, model, and version published by the manufacturer. The vehicle's parameters and configurations must comply with the manufacturer's standard configurations (including optional configurations selected to meet procurement requirements). The Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance will update the criteria involving configurations, performance, safety, and quality of new energy vehicles according to the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
