Shenzhen's addition of "little giants" has ranked first in the country for three consecutive years.

According to the Shenzhen Small and Medium Enterprise Service Bureau, in recent years, the proportion of newly added "small giant" enterprises in the specialized, refined and unique industries has been increasing year by year nationwide. In 2022, the proportion of newly added "small giants" in Shenzhen accounted for about 6.3% of the total nationwide; in 2023, it increased to 8.4%; in 2024, it increased to 9.8%; and in 2025, it was about 9.9%. Shenzhen has ranked first in the number of newly added "small giants" in the country for three consecutive years. In terms of fostering specialized, refined and unique "small giant" enterprises, Shenzhen has recently announced 347 "small giants" this year, and it is expected that the total number of "small giant" enterprises in Shenzhen will reach 1333, ranking first among major cities in China.
