Analysts at Bernstein pointed out in their report that the current upward cycle of storage chips is expected to squeeze the camera budget of low-end Android smartphones next year, but will have minimal impact on flagship Android models and the Apple supply chain. After two consecutive years of growth, the Android smartphone market may tend to level off next year. Smartphone manufacturers need to strike a balance between product configuration, sales volume, and their own and suppliers' profitability. Low-end device manufacturers are currently renegotiating prices, upgrading camera specifications, or delaying upgrades. However, it is not expected to see a trend of industry-wide configuration cuts like in 2022.
