Lei Jun's speech thanked the city of Beijing for providing fertile ground.

On November 20th, the 500,000th complete vehicle of Xiaomi Car officially rolled off the production line. Lei Jun, the founder and chairman of Xiaomi Group, expressed his gratitude to Beijing once again, saying "I have said many times that I am grateful to Beijing for nurturing Xiaomi on this fertile soil. In the past 15 years, Xiaomi is especially thankful for the strong support and assistance from the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Government."
