Chile opens cherry season with fast cargo ship direct to China.

On November 19th local time, the Chilean government announced the launch of the 2025-2026 cherry sea shipping export season, supplying fresh cherries to the Asian winter market through cargo ships sailing directly to China. The first voyage will depart from the main port of San Antonio in central Chile, with two "Cherry Express" ships transporting the first batch of cherries to China.
