Xilinhot High Altitude Station officially received the GRUAN site certification and became the first global high-altitude reference climate observation station in China.

Recently, China's Xilinhot High Altitude Station, as one of the first batch of candidate stations for the global high-altitude benchmark climate observations, obtained a certification certificate at the 16th Implementation Coordination Meeting of the Global Climate Observation System High Altitude Benchmark Observation Network held in Spain. This signifies that the Xilinhot High Altitude Station has officially entered the GRUAN sequence, becoming China's first, Asia's third, and the world's fifteenth global high-altitude benchmark climate observation station.
