The world's first drug smart manufacturing system applicable to ADCs and nucleotide monomer synthesis was officially unveiled in Shanghai on the 17th. Developed by WisMed in collaboration with East China Normal University, the system uses femtosecond laser technology to engrave complex chemical factories on chips, bringing the pharmaceutical industry into a new era of continuous, miniaturized, and intelligent production. This system not only significantly shortens the drug development cycle but also reduces the cost of nucleotide monomer synthesis by more than 40%, solving problems such as expensive raw materials and long reaction times in traditional processes. In the future, drug production is expected to achieve "on-demand smart manufacturing", no longer relying on centralized large factories but instead dispersed to hospitals, communities, and even homes.
