He Yaqiong, Director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated at a press conference on the 19th that recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has noticed that some news media have reported quality and safety issues with "pinch toys" and "crystal clay" and other "internet-famous" toys. The Ministry has conducted research and consultations with relevant departments in a timely manner. The research found that many problematic toys have issues such as being "without a manufacturer, production date, or warning label," "not obtaining a 3C certification certificate," and "not meeting the mandatory national standards of the GB 6675 series." During the revision process of the mandatory national standards of the GB 6675 series, the limit requirements for harmful substances in popular toys like "pinch toys" and "crystal clay" have been optimized and improved to address public concerns.
