On November 19th, the world's first deep-sea intelligent aquaculture and fishery support vessel "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1" was delivered and put into operation in the waters of Zhanjiang, Guangdong. It is understood that as a "national heavy equipment" in China's marine fishery equipment, "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1" was independently developed by Zhanjiang Bay Laboratory, with a total length of 154 meters and a width of 44 meters. It has a breeding water capacity of 80,000 cubic meters and is the world's first water-permeable floating power positioning aquaculture support vessel, capable of simultaneously breeding multiple fish species. The vessel also has an intelligent system covering the entire chain of "environmental monitoring-precision feeding-disease warning-harvest and processing", which collects water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and other parameters in real-time through sensors, and quickly judges the health status of the fish population through an AI visual recognition system, laying a solid foundation for achieving "mobile monitoring" and "unmanned fish farming".
