This morning, 16 provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the central government across the country still experienced record low temperatures, welcoming the coldest morning of the second half of the year. It is expected that today, the temperatures will remain low in the southern region, while temperatures in other parts of the country will begin to rise. This morning, temperatures in many areas in the North and South continue to drop. As of 8 o'clock, the lowest temperatures were -8.6C in Shenyang, -7.7C in Taiyuan, -1.3C in Xi'an, -0.8C in Hefei, -0.7C in Wuhan, 1.6C in Nanjing, 2.8C in Changsha, 2.9C in Guiyang, 3C in Hangzhou, 3.7C in Kunming, 4.3C in Chengdu, 4.8C in Shanghai, 7C in Chongqing, 8.6C in Nanning, 10.5C in Guangzhou, 11.4C in Fuzhou, and 14C in Haikou. A total of 16 provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the central government across the country have experienced record low temperatures since the beginning of autumn, welcoming the coldest morning of the second half of the year.
