CITIC Securities: Alibaba is ramping up efforts in consumer-side AI applications, exploring a thousand questions to discover the next generation traffic entry point.

CICC points out that the public beta of Qianwen App was launched on November 17th, and on the same day, its ranking on the iOS free list quickly rose from 45th to 6th. Previously, Alibaba's AI layout was mainly focused on the B-end, focusing on large models and cloud services. The global derivatives of the Tongyi model family exceed 170,000, making it the model family with the most derivatives. The launch of Qianwen App indicates Alibaba's strong expansion into C-end applications. Qianwen App is positioned as a versatile AI assistant, with long-term potential to become the C-end traffic entry point in the AI era, integrating users' various needs, preferences, and business data, covering content creation and life service scenarios in a one-stop shop.
