The CSI Index will release two indices, including the CSI 2000 ESG Benchmark Index.

China Securities Index Co., Ltd. will officially release the CSI 2000 ESG Benchmark Index and the CSI 2000 ESG Leading Index on November 19, 2025, providing the market with diverse performance benchmarks and investment targets. The CSI 2000 ESG Benchmark Index excludes the securities of the 20% of listed companies with the lowest ESG scores within each CSI primary industry from the CSI 2000 sample, selecting the remaining securities as the index sample, reflecting an ESG investment performance benchmark that matches the CSI 2000 Index. The CSI 2000 ESG Leading Index selects the 600 listed company securities with the highest ESG scores from the CSI 2000 sample as the index sample, representing the performance of listed company securities within the CSI 2000 sample with superior CSI ESG evaluation results.
