Hong Kong stock market closing: Hang Seng Index fell by 1.72%, Hang Seng Tech Index fell by 1.93%

Hong Kong stocks closed with the Hang Seng Index falling by 1.72% and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropping by 1.93%. The Hong Kong Tech ETF decreased by 1.96% and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF fell by 1.61%. In terms of sectors, the container and packaging, as well as the construction product sectors, had significant gains; while the automobile, hotel, and resort REIT sectors experienced significant declines. In terms of individual stocks, Reshape Energy fell by 13.38%, and China Travel International Investment Hong Kong dropped by 17.71%; while Kingsoft Cloud rose by 4.1% and Shanghai Industrial Holdings increased by 3.53%.
