Beijing: Enriching the supply of financial services for the accommodation and catering industry.

The Beijing branch of the People's Bank of China and 12 other departments have issued the "Implementation Plan for Financial Support for Beijing to Boost and Expand Consumption". The plan proposes to enrich the financial service supply for the accommodation and catering industry. Centered around activities such as the Beijing International Food Expo, the Beijing International Film Festival, and "E-sports Beijing", innovative financial consumption scenarios will be created to support the establishment of a group of traditional Beijing-style brands, cultural tourism, and food brands, and to support the creation of characteristic cultural tourism and catering districts in the six urban districts, the sub-center, and the plain new city area. Support and guide financial institutions to jointly carry out a variety of preferential activities with cultural tourism accommodation and catering operators, such as consumer discounts, discount offers, credit card points redemption, and instant discounts, continuously expanding the coverage of financial consumption benefits, and supporting the cultivation of characteristic bookstores, star-rated hotels, unique homestays, catering brands, and demonstration cultural tourism scenes.
