The Beijing branch of the People's Bank of China and 12 other departments have issued the "Implementation Plan for Financial Support for Boosting and Expanding Consumption in Beijing." The plan proposes to improve the service guarantee role of the insurance system. It encourages financial institutions in its jurisdiction to develop personal pension products that meet the needs of elderly participants, have long-term characteristics, and have a certain yield, to promote the reserve and stable appreciation of pension wealth. Accelerate the innovation of commercial insurance pension products. Expand the coverage of commercial health insurance and improve the level of service guarantee. Develop commercial long-term care insurance. Promote commercial health insurance to increase support for innovative drugs, to meet the multi-level and personalized health security needs of the people. Support the development of elderly travel insurance and encourage the expansion of travel insurance coverage. Accelerate the development of inclusive insurance for farmers, urban low-income groups, and other vulnerable groups, support more inclusive insurance for key groups, and promote comprehensive insurance for individual businesses.
