Beijing: Enhancing the level of consumption services for foreigners in Beijing.

The People's Bank of China Beijing Branch and 12 other departments issued the "Implementation Plan for Financial Support for Boosting and Expanding Consumption in Beijing". The plan proposes to improve the level of consumption services for overseas visitors in Beijing. Support will be provided for relevant payment institutions and banks to further expand the application scenarios and participants of "foreign card binding" services, strengthen product innovation and policy promotion, and enhance the friendliness and convenience of registration, card binding, and payment processes. Focus on optimizing payment services in key consumption scenes and key business districts, promote the construction of barrier-free payment service districts, and effectively meet the payment service needs of groups such as foreign visitors in China.
