The People's Bank of China Beijing Branch and 12 other departments have issued the "Implementation Plan for Financial Support for Boosting and Expanding Consumption in Beijing." The plan proposes optimizing the consumption service model for the elderly. Encouraging financial institutions within their jurisdiction to focus on the financial needs of different elderly groups, providing comprehensive financial services for elderly groups at different stages and with different characteristics. Guiding commercial banks within their jurisdiction to carry out pilot projects for elderly meal assistance payments in some chain canteens and restaurants in the city, and encouraging and supporting commercial banks within their jurisdiction to issue and operate exclusive card products for the elderly. If conditions permit, they can issue card products for the Beijing area, facilitating elderly consumption.
