In the first 10 months, Hubei Province's import and export growth exceeded 20%, with the total value of imports and exports by private enterprises accounting for over 70%.

According to Wuhan Customs, in the first 10 months of this year, the total import and export value of Hubei Province was 680.96 billion yuan, an increase of 21.6% year-on-year. Among them, exports were 476.38 billion yuan, an increase of 25.8%; imports were 204.58 billion yuan, an increase of 12.7%. Private enterprises accounted for more than 70% of import and export. There are over 9,800 foreign trade companies in Hubei Province with import and export performance, an increase of 900 compared to the same period last year. Among them, there were 8,930 private enterprises with import and export reaching 478.79 billion yuan, an increase of 25.5%, accounting for over 70% of the total import and export value of Hubei Province during the same period, increasing the import and export growth rate of Hubei Province by 17.4 percentage points. Meanwhile, state-owned enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises saw double-digit growth in imports and exports, totaling 104.59 billion yuan and 97.32 billion yuan, respectively. Mechanical and electrical products accounted for more than half of the exports. Hubei Province exported 242.96 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products during the same period, accounting for over half of the total export value. Among them, the exports of integrated circuits, lithium-ion batteries, and automotive components maintained rapid growth, with the export volume of lithium-ion batteries more than doubling, reaching 21.39 billion yuan, 13.62 billion yuan, and 13.59 billion yuan, respectively.
